Allison + Ally

Allison Kalsched, a certified personal trainer, and Allyson Cherins share more than just a first name. We decided to put our heads, hearts and experience together and bring our love of fitness, wellness, food and the outdoors to a group of like-minded women. After a successful launch in 2019, we are so excited to once again pour our hearts and souls into NOURISH. We look forward to a very special weekend together.

Chef Aksel Theilkuhl

Based in the storied Catskills region of New York, Chef Theilkuhl joined Foster Supply Hospitality to open The DeBruce, a 14-room lodge nestled on 600 acres of Catskills National Park. At The DeBruce, Chef Theilkuhl applies his deep-rooted classic technic with ingredient forward simplicity serving a sophisticated, yet playful, seasonally driven tasting menu highlighting the local farms and purveyors that make up the region. Since its opening in 2017, The DeBruce has been featured on Conde Nast Traveler’s “Hot List” and named one of Esquire’s Best New Restaurants of 2018 by renowned food writer, Jeff Gordinier. 

Chef Theilkuhl is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University. Prior to joining the Foster Supply Hospitality team he spent time with the BLT Group helping to open and operate five restaurants. Theilkuhl has also spent time with Starr Restaurants and STK Group.

Scott Woods

Scott Woods spent his childhood on the family tree farm in Callicoon Center, NY.  Artist, author and horticulturist, Scott illustrated books for Simon and Schuster, Doubleday and Bantam Books. He spent ten years in California working as a founding member of Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks Animation.  Returning to his Catskill roots, Scott worked as Nursery Manager at Everlasting Spring Garden Center in White Sulphur Springs before moving on to become the Head Grower in the greenhouses at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz. Now Director of Gardens for Foster Supply Hospitality, Scott leads discussions, hands-on workshops and tours across all of the company’s properties, including The DeBruce, our home for NOURISH 2020.
