boot camps
The idea for Backyard Boot Camp came in Fall 2013. With little time in my schedule, I would exercise outside in my very own backyard. I quickly realized that others would likely enjoy the opportunity to have a trainer work with a small group of their friends in a backyard in good weather, leading them through a series of challenging and fun exercises. Since then, it has grown into a regularly scheduled outdoor group exercise class that takes place in spring, summer and fall.
Boot camps are active. Participants move for an hour, increasing their heart rate, building lean muscle and increasing physical endurance. It's a challenging hour, and it is accessible to most as each exercise can be modified to fit each participant's level of fitness. It's a guarantee that after a boot camp session you will feel motivated, energized, happy (everyone is happy after a workout) and satisfied.
And working in a group has proven benefits! Participants in group exercise are motivated by their peers, receive support and encouragement along the way. By partaking in a weekly class, participants also receive the benefits of regular exercise. If you are looking for an addition to your fitness plan, this is for you!
Winter boot camp registration opens NOVEMBER 1.

be your own gym
You have everything you need to improve your fitness even if you don't have a single piece of gym equipment. This program is designed to be completed as modules. Start with the Mastering the Breath chapter and work on that. It might seem weird but it's important AND it will help you strengthen your core and move better and more efficiently. Then head into the three modules, each focusing on a different portion of the body: Abs, Upper Body and Core, and Lower Body.
personal training
I am a NASM certified personal trainer with a focus on women at all levels of fitness. Whether you are an athlete, a weekend warrior training for an event, or just trying to get back in shape, I will work with you to achieve your fitness goals.
Through discipline and commitment, together we can accomplish great things. I strive to help each client push through the doubts, the long to-do list of life, and the fear of commitment to a healthier lifestyle. Over and over, I see clients find that connection that gets them motivated, whether it's fitting into that old pair of jeans, sleeping better, seeing definition in their arms, or just liking what they see in the mirror. It's those moments that convince us that there is a connection between desire and result, and that with a little work and a commitment, we can get to place where we decide we don't want to turn back to our old lifestyle. I love those moments.
I am NOT currently taking new 1:1 clients.
